Ann Pearson

Yes! There is a group discount when you are enrolling 2 or more people at the same time. Email [email protected] for more information.

How long will it take me to complete the course?
It will take approximately 6-7 hours to complete the entire course.

Do I have to finish the course all at once?
No. You can start and stop the course as often as you like. Only have 5 or 10 minutes? Jump in and watch a portion of a video or download some templates and checklists.

Will I be able to download and edit the forms and checklists?
Yes, all of the forms, templates, and checklists are available for you to download. All of the files are in Word and Excel format so that you can edit them and use them as your own. Our personal injury checklist for paralegals was designed so that you can make sure that nothing slips through the cracks on your personal injury claim files.

Is the course approved for CLE credits?
No, we are not a CLE-approval company. The only organization that can approve a course for CLE credit is the organization through which you were certified.

Is this a live training that meets at a specific time?
No. This is an on-demand program that you can take at your own pace and on a schedule that's convenient for you.

Does the course include litigation training?
This course focuses on personal injury case management in the pre-litigation phase (initial client intake through the demand/negotiation phase). However, the final module does include some information on filing the complaint and serving the initial discovery requests if the claim file does not settle after the demand letter is sent. If your role is a personal injury litigation paralegal, we recommend that you consider taking our Litigation Paralegal Boot Camp after this course.

What if I can't finish the course in one year?
We know that life happens! We never shut off course access to someone who paid for the course and hasn't been able to complete it. Just email [email protected] and ask for an extension. That being said, the sooner you complete the program, the sooner you will start to see results and start fast-tracking your paralegal career.

Do I need to have my paralegal certificate before I take this course?
No. In fact, the course can be extremely helpful to someone who has been working as a receptionist or file clerk at a plaintiff's personal injury firm and wants to take on more and potentially be promoted to a case manager or intake person. That being said, this is not a replacement for a paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal certificate program at your local college. Without a paralegal certificate, you could be limiting your future employment potential. To our students who are working in a personal injury firm as a receptionist, after completing our course and getting promoted, we highly recommend that your next step is an official paralegal certificate to ensure your future success as a personal injury paralegal.
